Rumors are tiny magical creatures that are kept in the lockboxes of our mouths.
Unfortunately, rumors are prone to escape, because we (their keepers) cannot control the urge to share their magic with others (reckless though that sharing may be).
And once those wily, restless beings pass through the gates of our lips, they can never be boxed again.
