Another "mood of the day" piece, this one coming at the break of dawn, on a cold, rainy day, when all is quiet and the coffee is freshly brewed.
There are actually mountains in the horizontal white band of the image; the grey bands that sandwich the white band are layers of darker clouds. It was like looking at a Devil Dog sky.
Dedicated to my wife, who is the sunshine on my melancholy days.
